Carson, who is a queer and transgender man, had always felt uncomfortable and uninvited in activities that tested his physical and\/or mental abilities. After a summer away at camp in Rhinebeck, New York, Carson found himself in his element at camp. Because of his experience, he became passionate about combining recreation with physical and mental wellness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProgress Peak has been an idea in the making for many years. After his summer away, Carson wanted to combine his expertise in mental health and his passion for recreation and challenging himself. Progress Peak Adventures is the beginning of that dream. Carson, who is a queer and transgender man, had always felt uncomfortable and uninvited in activities that tested his physical and\/or mental abilities. After a summer away at camp in Rhinebeck, New York, Carson found himself in his element at camp.
